Extending Hospice Care into the Home

We provide, regular hands on nursing support for a specific amount of time from a hospice nurse who has built up a trusting relationship with the child and family.

We can provide

Help with terminal care
Palliative care
Respite care in a crisis situation - either nursing or social
Assessment of newly referred children to the hospice
Attendance at case conferences
Hospital visits
Keyworker service and act as advocate for the child and family

We offer flexibility within our working hours in order to meet each child's/family's needs.



	REFERRAL FOR HOMECARE Families of all children who have been referred to Francis House can be referred for home care, by any hospice care team member or health professional.
