Events 

Francis House stages many fundraising events through the year, these are organised:

Judy Bailey has been working with Francis House since 1994 when she organised our first Concert in the Park. This was initially held at Arley Hall and was an annual event until 2006.

 

Judy also organises an annual ball at the beginning of December, which for many of our supporters has become ‘the beginning of Christmas’. The ball is always a sell out and has grown in popularity.

 

Judy organises other events throughout the year and hopes to offer ‘something for everyone’.

 

In 2008 she held a concert at Manchester Cathedral with Chetham's School of Music and this is to be repeated and hopefully become an annual event.

 

Alongside these events she has held an ‘Evening with Peter Kay’ and is following this with more along the lines of ‘an evening or lunchtime with’ whether they are of a sporting nature or person of public interest – please keep an eye on the website for information.
