Francis Lodge Update
Things are moving extremely quickly and our building contractors Joe Brown Ltd are progressing well. The building has been transformed and plasterers, electricians and heating engineers are working ‘flat out’ to ensure that the works stay on programme.
In May some of our young people came down to the lodge to inspect the progress. Below you are able to view a video clip of Gill explaining to them how the building will be laid out.
In addition to the building works we have been training new staff, who will help to staff Francis House whilst existing members of the Care team will move between the two sites.

The work is well advanced and the need for respite is great but all of this will cost money.
Francis House will continue to need funds to meet the running costs and very soon Francis Lodge will add to this. This year we need to raise 2.5 million pounds in total and so we need new ideas. We are particularly looking to younger people to help us provide care for those of their own age group.
So come on all of you 18-30’s let us know your bright ideas for fundraising!
