Annual Charity Golf Day at Stockport Golf Club ~ Thursday 10th September

The annual charity golf day at Stockport Golf Club was held on Thursday 10th September.  The event has been run each year since 1992 and teams of four play for the Jim Cash Trophy.  Jim set up the competition in 1992 and chaired the organising committee until he sadly passed away in 2004.

This year 24 teams took part and the winners of the main Stableford Betterball Competition with 86 points were the Ambrosians represented by Mimmo Pettinicchio, Dympna Feeley, Jim McGrath and Geof O'Grady.

The day raised over £6,500 which will go directly to Francis House.  The success of the day was assisted by the main sponsors, Heavyweight Air Express and the following sponsoring companies:
