Charity Shop
Francis House has a charity shop, which raises much needed funds and acts as one of the public faces of the Hospice. Alan and his team of volunteers work hard to make the shop an important part of the Burnage community. We offer a wide variety of items donated and new and pride ourselves in presenting a polite and friendly service.
We rely on the generosity of our supporters who give regular donations of goods to sell – and on our willing team of volunteers who help to staff the shop and help in the store room ensuring that everything displayed is of a good standard.
It’s always worth calling to view our ever changing window displays and you never know what you may find!

The shop is always in need of good quality items to sell (we cannot accept electrical goods).
Please try to donate to the shop during opening hours.
Sadly there are many unscrupulous people who operate door to door leaving bags for collection. Francis House does not do this. There are people operating in our area who have ‘Rainbow’ in their title, these people have no connection with Francis House.
If you are in anyway suspicious about people collecting door to door please either call the police or telephone the Hospice.
