Shark Dive

Descend into the depths of Blue Planet Aquarium’s Ocean Exhibit, home of Europe’s largest collection of sharks!

Take on this bucket-list challenge and come face-to-face with breathtaking 12-foot Sand Tiger Sharks, discovering the unique behaviours and characteristics that make them incredible ocean predators.

You’ll also share the water with majestic Nurse Sharks, graceful Zebra sharks, sleek Blacktip Reef Sharks, rare Brownbanded Bamboo Sharks, the unusual Blackchin Guitarfish, elegant Southern Stingrays, and a vibrant array of tropical fish.

This cage-free diving experience is your chance to get up close to some of the most fascinating marine life, while raising funds for the children, young adults and families who rely on the care of Francis House, Greater Manchester’s only children’s hospice.

Requirements

No previous diving experience is required. Blue Planet’s expert dive team will provide full tuition, equipment, and a comprehensive dive briefing before entering the water.

The registration fee is £90 (less than 1/3 of the normal cost of the dive). We ask that each participant commit to raising a minimum of £500 to support the vital work of Francis House.

Participants must be aged 16+ and at least 125cm (4ft 2in) tall to take part.
