Looking for an adrenaline hit? Take on the 170ft Trafford Palazzo Tower Abseil at the Trafford Centre!

Francis House is looking for thrill‑seekers willing to step over the edge and take on the descent, all to raise vital funds the children, young people and families who turn to us for care and support.

This challenge is hosted by Big Bang Promotions. Full training, safety equipment, and expert guidance are all included in the discounted event price of £35.

In return, we ask each participant to aim for a minimum fundraising target of £175 to help support our work.

Timings

Time slots will be known closer to the date. We ask that participants keep their whole day free in the meantime and we will be in touch with plenty of notice.

Important information – please read before you sign up

Participants cannot take part if they are:

Pregnant
Under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs
Under 12 years old

For participants with any of the following they must seek professional medical advice before participating and sign a non-standard waiver:

Aged 50 years or above
High blood pressure
Heart condition
Suffer from dizziness or epilepsy
Damage to neck, back, spinal column, legs or eyes
Asthma
Prescribed medication – this must be disclosed at registration to inform us of how this may affect you.

The following points apply to ALL participants:

Participants aged 12 to 15 years old require a parent or guardian to be present, sign permission and complete a non-standard waiver
Glasses and hard contact lenses cannot be worn
Maximum weight limit for a solo participant is 120kg (18.9 stone)
Minimum weight limit for a solo participant is 35kg (4.7stone)
Waist harnesses fit waist size of 40cm (15.7 inches) to 125cm (49.2 inches)
Big Bang Experiences reserve the right to prevent any participant from taking part in the activity if they deem them unfit to partake.
