Festival of Christmas Trees 2021

Returning for the 15th year!

The Francis House Festival of Trees is your opportunity to bid on a selection of stunning Christmas trees each uniquely decorated by local organisations, individuals and big brands.

If you place the highest bid before the auction ends on 5th December you will get to take the tree home in time for Christmas!

The decorated trees are on display to the public at our pop-up Christmas shop at Quayside MediaCityUK (formerly known as the Lowry Outlet Mall) from Saturday 30th October to Sunday 5th December 2021.

What’s on offer

The trees decorated by local and global organisations include Manchester United, The Fragrance Shop, Co-op, Women’s Institutes, Rotary clubs, Quayside MediaCityUK, L’Oreal, Towers CBRE, Lauren’s Little Stars, JP Goldman, The Alchemist, Nandos, Tesco, Morrisons, Fibre Hairdressing, Swizzles Matlow, Uplift Cafe knitting group, RTC, Apadmi, Liam Livingstone LCC tree, Margaret Howell, Cardinal Maritime, The Floorbrite Group, Virgin Media, CLS and many more!

All have generously donated items including signed baubles, football memorabilia, mini cricket bats, as well as donations of luxury hampers, iPads, handmade gifts and even a Henry hoover!

Our tree sponsors have let their imaginations run wild creating saleable tempting trees that you’d be proud to purchase.

Each tree comes complete with lights ready to be placed straight in your home or business – there’s no need to decorate!

How it works

Customers browse the trees, packed with fantastic gifts, experiences and vouchers in the Francis House pop-up shop when the event launches on 30th October 2021.

Bids are placed on each tree either in store of online at www.festivaloftrees.co.uk to raise vital funds for Francis House Children’s Hospice based in Didsbury, Manchester.

The auction starts and the excitement mounts! Whoever has the highest bid on each tree when the auction closes on Sunday 5th December gets to take the tree home in time for Christmas.

Christmas merchandise is also on sale in the pop-up shop as well as the opportunity to win some fantastic raffle prizes. The shop closes on Sunday 12th December.

With some of the trees fetching hundreds of pounds each, the Festival of Trees raises much-needed income for the hospice and Francis House is grateful to Quayside MediaCityUK for providing a retail unit free of charge, and to all the tree sponsors.
