Run Media City

Starting and finishing in the vibrant Lowry Plaza at MediaCityUK, the Run Media City route takes runners on a scenic 2.5km loop around the iconic Salford Quays waterfront.

You will cross the striking Millennium Bridge before passing some of Manchester’s most recognisable landmarks, including the Imperial War Museum North and the famous ITV and BBC television studios based at MediaCityUK.

With a flat, fast and fully accessible course, the event is ideal for both experienced runners aiming for a personal best and beginners taking on their first 5K or 10K. Its lively atmosphere, waterside views and unique city setting make Run Media City one of the most exciting running events in Manchester.

Fees and Sign-Up Process

We have a limited number of discounted places on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to register with us quickly!

Sign-up costs £15 per person with a sponsorship target of £50.

Already have a place?

Whichever way you register, we’ll be with you every step of the way. Our Fundraising Team will offer tips and guidance, plus materials including a free Francis House T-shirt or running vest, sponsorship forms, collection buckets, balloons and posters.
