Francis House supporter, DJ and well-known local entertainer Jim Nicholas, is back with a fantastic line up to bring you music-filled fundraising event to raise money for Francis House Children’s Hospice.
The event, which takes place at the Stockport Plaza on Tuesday 18th April 2023, will see the Stars Come Out for this popular charity gala.
Herman’s Hermits are an English beat rock and pop group formed in 1964 in Manchester, originally called Herman and His Hermits and featuring lead singer Peter Noone. Produced by Mickie Most, they charted with number ones in the UK and in America, where they ranked as one of the most successful acts in the Beatles led British Invasion. Peter Noone left the band in 1971 The band continues to tour today, with Barry Whitwam as the only remaining member from the original line-up.
The Fourmost had its roots steeped in the eclectic 1960s Mersey beat boom and was part of the Brian Epstein stable along with The Beatles, Billy J Kramer, Gerry and The Pacemakers, Cilla Black and others.
One of the most authentic 1960s bands currently on the circuit today, from their Vox amps, Rickenbacker guitars and Ludwig drums down to their Italian made slim-fitted suits and Cuban heel boots.
