Why we need your help

Now, more than ever, Francis House needs your support.

As a result of the Coronavirus crisis a number of our fundraising events were cancelled or postponed and we faced a huge shortfall of £250,000.

In May 2020 we launched our Emergency Appeal and supporters generously donated and fundraised for the hospice in fantastically creative ways.

As life begins to return to some form of normality, we’ve put this page together to give you some ideas for a virtual fundraising challenge of your own.

Tell all your friends and family about your fundraising. Use the hashtag #FrancisHouseFriend and we’ll share it on social media.

Virtual fundraising ideas:

• Could you brave the head shave? Perhaps you could do this live on social media.
• Run your own marathon or climb a virtual mountain!
• Get involved in our Easter Chick Appeal.
• Host a FIFA tournament amongst your friends or host your own live stream event. 
• Create a virtual walking challenge to complete a number of steps in a set amount of days!
• Visit our events page and get involved in our events.
