On December 6, long-standing supporter of Francis House, Jimmy Cricket, his ‘good lady’ May Marion and a singer friend Jonathan Young, performed a very festive Christmas variety show at St Vincent’s Parish Hall in Rochdale.

Jimmy’s shows are a popular annual event, and donations from the refreshments and a raffle come to Francis House.

This year Jimmy wanted to do something different, and off the back of successful sales of his Christmas album – “Santa Bring My Wellies Back To Me” Jimmy decided to perform the songs from the CD to a very receptive crowd, ‘We lock the doors so they can’t get out!’ says Jimmy.

New for 2022, Jimmy and friends performed a half hour variety show with songs from the album mixed in with stand up and a few sketches.

Jimmy has now released the performance as a special podcast and encourages everyone who listens to make a donation to Francis House.

Thank you Jimmy, May and Jonathan, once again you have delivered more than we could have hoped. This is a really great way to raise funds and spread some festive cheer!
