The college-wide Easter initiative saw staff from across Bury College knitting chicks which were sold to raise money for the hospice.
Last year, the chick appeal raised £50,000 for the hospice that provides a home from home environment to the families of children with life-limiting conditions.
Over in the Bury College Health and Social Care department, staff knitted sixty chicks for the appeal, and students helped towards raising £320 by selling and raffling the chicks.

Patricia Farrelly, Bury College Health and Social Care Team Leader was delighted by the efforts of the Easter appeal and to help support such a worthy charity.
Carol Snowden, Bury College Pastoral and Retention Quality Officer, said proudly: “The chicks were well received across the college and supported by both staff and students. We have a student who attends Francis House and receives respite care and I have seen first-hand the difference the charity makes to the lives of so many people.”
