More than 200 bikers deliver hundreds of gifts - many destined for the children at Francis House.
For more than 18 years organiser Andy Roughley and bikers from all over Manchester, Cheshire, Warrington and Wigan have made an annual delivery of presents to the children and young people supported by the hospice.
After swapping biker leathers for Santa and elf outfits, the motorbike and scooter riders hand-delivered a selection of games, cuddly toys, bath sets and donations of cash.
Sam Henshaw from Roughleys Bikers said: “There is a great sense of coming together and camaraderie in the biker community and our run demonstrates this. Everyone feels good joining in and the atmosphere is amazing.”
In October the hospice benefited from the bikers annual presentation evening, when a cheque for £500 was presented to fundraiser Julie Williams.
Roughleys annual bike show takes place on the August bank holiday and raises thousands of pounds for local charities.
"Everyone does the run because they want to help the community, children and people who are worse off than themselves."
