The Stars in Their Eyes charity event, in which members of the public take to the stage to impersonate showbiz stars, is set to raise money for Francis House Children’s Hospice.
Ten brave contestants will be transformed into a pop legend, rock icon or diva, before delivering a show-stopping performance on March 29.
With seven out of the ten places already snapped up, organisers are wanting to hear from three more supporters to brave the spotlight at The Bowdon Rooms, Altrincham.
Zeffi Johnson, event organiser of Francis House has even agreed to take to the stage herself, hoping to inspire others to do the same.
Zeffi said: “We are thrilled to be bringing Stars In Their Eyes for Francis House to The Bowdon Rooms. If I can do it anyone can. It’s going to be an incredible evening and we’re looking for our final three contestants who can commit to raising sponsorship and filling a table of ten with their guests.
“Fundraising events like these are crucial to keeping the doors of Francis House open and every ticket and table sold will help towards the running of our services supporting the families of children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.”
