Classic Ibiza returns to Tatton Park

An orchestral celebration of the very best in house music performed in a stunning outdoor setting.

Classic Ibiza returns to the stunning grounds of Tatton Park this summer with a family-friendly concert of Balearic-infused dance music.

Headlined by the 32 piece Urban Soul Orchestra (USO), the five hour event on Saturday, June 29, will once again see organisers team up with Francis House Children’s Hospice in an effort to raise vital funds.

Based in Didsbury, Francis House cares for the families of children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, providing respite care and a range of services including homecare, sibling support, emotional and bereavement support and end of life care.

Kate Puć, fundraising officer of Francis House said: “We are delighted to be on board again this year for Classic Ibiza at Tatton Park. Last year was spectacular, and we raised approximately £2,000 on the evening. We are hoping that lots of our supporters will come along, enjoy a fabulous event and help to raise much-needed funds for their local children’s hospice.”

Classic Ibiza concerts up and down the country attracted 60,000 people and raised £21,000 from last summer’s tour. The aim in 2024 is to raise even more funds for local partner charities.

Classic Ibiza’s Lisa Ward said: “For the first time, we’re giving our Tatton audience the option of donating to Francis House when they purchase tickets from our website. Helping Classic Ibiza concertgoers to keep costs down is important to us, so unlike many promoters we don’t charge for parking and allow our guests to bring their own food and drink to our shows.

“If people can donate a fraction of these savings, I’m confident we can surpass last year’s total, assisting Francis House to continue the incredible work it does in the North West.”

There will also be various fundraising initiatives taking place on the evening, including a £2.50 donation from every programme sold, a recommended £5 donation from press and guest-list entries, as well as bucket collection points at all entry and exit gates. Further funds will be raised at the Francis House shop, selling a range of fun merchandise.

The evening starts at 5.30pm with a vibe straight from one of Ibiza’s iconic beachside bars, before building to a magical alfresco nightclub by the time the concert finishes at 11pm. In true Classic Ibiza style, the beat goes up as sun goes down.

Headlining the event is USO, known for their work alongside dance music greats like Groove Armada, Robert Miles and Nightmares On Wax. Together with DJ Goldierocks, they’ll be reinventing the most iconic house music tracks from the last 30 years. Highlights will include a DJ set by former Pacha Ibiza resident Jose Luis and an awe-inspiring laser and light show.
