Every light on the Visufund virtual Christmas tree can be personalised with a photo and memory.
This Christmas Francis House is inviting members of the public and hospice supporters to dedicate a light on a virtual Christmas tree in memory of their loved ones.
By choosing to remember someone special, you can help Francis House to continue to provide much needed care and support to the families of children and young adults with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.
Nancy West made a dedication in memory of her husband David who volunteered in the garden at Francis House until the early 2000s.
“Dedicating a light is such a lovely way to remember David as Francis House meant so much to him. Francis House will always have a special place in my heart and choosing a light on the tree brought back many happy memories.”

Every day the hospice team of sick children’s nurses, play specialists and creative therapists, support families from across Greater Manchester and helps them make precious memories.
By dedicating a light on the tree and making a donation, you are helping Francis House to continue to deliver care to local children and support to their families this Christmas.
As a registered charity, it costs £4.8 million to run the hospice services, with charitable donations generating a significant proportion of the income required.
Francis House provides a home from home where the families of children with life-limiting conditions receive professional care, support and friendship. Services include respite care, day care, homecare, sibling support groups, end of life care and symptom control, and emotional support and bereavement support.
Anyone visiting the Francis House Visufund platform can choose a light on the tree, leave a message, photo and memories of their friend or relative in return for a minimum donation of £5.
All funds raised will go directly towards the care of the children, young people and their families.
