Enchanted Ladies Lunch

Francis House Children’s Hospice is holding a glamorous Summer Ladies Lunch in June in the spectacular surroundings of the Principal Hotel in Manchester’s city centre.

The Barricade Boys are performing at the Ladies Lunch.

Musical theatre group the Barricade Boys famed for performing powerful ballads and beautiful operatic arias to some of the best pop, rock and swing numbers of all time are the star guests.

The four artists – all stars from the musical Les Miserables – have performed on London’s West End and Broadway and have been seen on ITV’s This Morning.

The theme for this year’s event is an afternoon of ‘enchantment’ and guests can expect to be greeted by a stunning backdrop of summer flowers and an arrival reception drink.

Fun-packed Afternoon

There will be stalls to browse including Cheshire Home Fragrance, followed by a delicious two course lunch accompanied by acoustic singer songwriter Liam McClair.

A fashion show of the latest affordable fashion by Cheshire-based Fuzzy Goose boutique, will add some additional sparkle to the June afternoon charity event.

All proceeds will go towards providing care to children and young people with life-limiting conditions and support for their families provided by Francis House.

Francis House Children’s Hospice comprises two separate facilities – Francis House accommodation for the whole family and Francis Lodge an age-appropriate facility for teenagers and young adults.

The hospice needs to raise £12,900 every day to continue to provide its services. 88% of its income comes from charitable donations.

Greatest Hits radio presenter and DJ Darren Proctor will provide further music and compere the day.

The not-to-be missed event will take place on Friday, June 14, from 11 am until 4 pm at the Principal Hotel, Manchester.  Tickets are £55 per person, or £60 per person with a goody bag. Tables of 10 are £550 or £600 respectively. Call Lucy on 0161 443 2200 for further information.
