Junior & Mini Great Manchester Run

Calling all young heroes – the Junior & Mini Great Manchester Run returns on Saturday 30^th May 2026, and we want you on the starting line!

The Junior & Mini events kickstart an exciting weekend of sport in the city, giving young runners the chance to experience the incredible atmosphere of the Great Manchester Run the day before the main event.

Whether they take on the 1.6km Mini Run (ages 3–8) or the 2.5km Junior Challenge (ages 9–15), this is your kid’s chance to support Francis House and help make a real impact!

All Francis House junior runners will receive:

• A Francis House T-shirt to wear on the day
• A sponsor form to help with the fundraising
• A Francis House balloon to celebrate their achievement

How to get involved

Sign up via the official Great Run website, then email pstorey@francishouse.org.uk to let us know you’re joining Team Francis House.

• The Junior 2.3km run is for 9-15 year olds, with a £22 entry fee
• The Mini 1.5km run is for 3-8 year olds with a £22 entry fee
