With two distances to choose from, we have a route to suit everyone – regardless of walking prowess…

The Challenge Route

Conquer three of Cheshire’s highest peaks on the demanding 13.6 mile route, covering steep terrain over magnificent scenery.

On this route you’ll tackle Tegg’s Nose, Shutlingsloe and Shining Tor. Winding through the scenic Macclesfield landscape, the walk encompasses Trentabank and Lamaload Reservoir, offering spectacular views from all three summits. The route covers some very steep terrain and requires a good level of fitness. Lunch packs are provided mid-route.

Average walk time: 6.5 hours.

All ages and abilities can enjoy this 6.5 mile ramble through the countryside, which will take you through beautiful moorland, heathland and woodland.

Whilst well-suited to families and less experienced hikers, the walk is nonetheless challenging. You should expect to encounter a few climbs along the way, but the stunning views will make them worth your while!

Average walk time: 3.5 hours

Cost: £15 / FREE for under 16s

“It was the best day ever; it was very challenging, but we enjoyed every minute of it.”
