Succession planning at Francis House

Rachael Taylor has been appointed as the next Chief Executive of Francis House Family Trust.

She will take up the role in April 2025, after a period of working alongside current CEO David Ireland who announced his retirement earlier in the year.

Rachael has been Assistant to the Chief Executive for thirteen years, and as a trained Solicitor, continues to advise both Trustees and families regarding legal issues.

Rachael is only the third Chief Executive Officer to be appointed in the 33 year history of the hospice.
