The unspoilt wilderness of Albania and inspiring scenery of Valbona National park awaits adventurous trekkers for the fourth overseas challenge organised by Francis House.

Among the trekkers already signed up are eight enthusiastic hikers, like David, who are all from the Oldham area. The trek to the ‘Accursed Mountains of Albania’ takes place this September.

Training walks for the five days of adventurous trekking are taking place including this summer’s Cheshire Three Peaks Challenge.

“Francis House is all about helping people live life to the full regardless of ability. The Francis House trek has proved that people of all ages can achieve great things both for their own health and for Francis House. Everyone who has walked with us in the past has been appreciative of the team spirit and mutual support."
