Crown Green vs Flat Green bowls challenge

‘Clash of the Codes’ is organised by Heaton Hall BC in support of Francis House Children’s Hospice.

Welcome to the first inaugural Clash of the Codes, a Crown Green vs Flat Green challenge match taking place on May 28 from 10am at Heaton Hall Bowling Club.

The teams involved are Lloyd Hotel Bowling Club of Chorlton-cum-Hardy and Heaton Hall Bowling Club of Prestwich. With both sides boasting current county champions, national champions and international players, the scene is set for a fantastic day of bowls, all day music and fun for the family.

The unique set-up of the venue means it is possible to hold the world’s first simultaneous cross-code bowls event and one that will bring spectators from across the country together.

Members of the public are welcome to enjoy the event and try bowls throughout the day, or simply drop in and say ‘hi’.
