Take part in STEPtember and commit to walking 10,000 steps every day for the whole month of September.

Make every STEP count

Hundreds of local families are navigating the most challenging of paths. The STEPS they take every day are difficult and demanding. Our Francis House care team walk with these families, helping them on their journey and creating special memories along the way.

Walk with Francis House by joining in with STEPtember. Show your support for the families that we care for and the daily obstacles that they face.

STEP up your fitness

Not only is STEPtember a great way of supporting your local children’s hospice, it is also the perfect opportunity to step up your fitness.

Walk 10,000 steps every day for the 30 days of STEPtember and you will have almost covered the distance from Didsbury to London!

Registrations for STEPtember are £7. Once you’ve signed up, we will send you a fundraising pack containing helpful tips to achieve your target, a wall chart to record your steps and a Francis House T-shirt.

Our STEPtember challenge can be completed at your own pace and in your own time. Collect sponsorship from your family and friends to help motivate you further in your challenge. We advise all our participants to use JustGiving to raise sponsorship.

Anyone who raises more than £50 will be entered into a draw to win a fantastic prize!
