Salford Dragon Boat Race

The Salford Dragon Boat Race is a fantastic opportunity for a team-building day for you and your colleagues.

Teams are made up of 13 to 20 individuals. Only 16 paddlers and a drummer can operate the boat at any one time, but there are multiple races on the day so the whole team will have the chance to compete.

Whether you’re a novice or an experienced rower, everyone is invited to join in the fun at Ontario Dock.

During the race you will cover 180 metres in the water and each team will have a minimum of three timed races, with the single fastest time counting towards a chance to compete in the Grand Final.

The team registration fee is £500 if you choose to support a charity (half the price of a corporate team), providing each team member commits to fundraising as part of the challenge. Please help by choosing Francis House when you sign up on the organiser’s website.
