Skydive for Francis House

01 Jan 31 Dec

Various airfields across the UK

Thursday 01 Jan 26 - Thursday 31 Dec 26 No times Available

If you’re ready to push your limits and experience the thrill of freefall, a charity skydive is the perfect way to make a life‑changing difference.

Jump from 10,000 feet+ strapped to a qualified instructor and feel the rush as you soar through the sky, all while raising vital funds for Francis House.

Skydives take place throughout the year. Pick a date that works best for you, and we’ll support you every step of the way.

You can choose from multiple UK skydive centres, including popular North West locations such as:

  • Lancaster / Cockerham Airfield
  • Whitchurch (Shropshire)
  • Grange‑over‑Sands (Cumbria)

(Exact availability depends on the partner skydive provider.)

Taking part is simple:

  • Registration fee: £70
  • Minimum fundraising target: £395–£450 (varies by location)

Your skydive will be run by our partners at Skyline Events, who will take your booking and share all the information you need to prepare for your jump.

If you have any questions about the event or fundraising, our team is here to help:

FAQs

Do I need any previous experience?

No experience is needed. You’ll complete a short training session on the day, and you’ll be securely attached to a qualified tandem instructor throughout the jump.

Is there an age limit?

Participants must be 16 or over. Anyone under 18 will need parental or guardian consent. Upper age limits vary by airfield, but most centres welcome participants into their 70s as long as they meet health requirements.

Are there weight or health restrictions?

Yes – each airfield has its own weight limits, typically around 14–15 stone (89–95kg) for tandem jumps, but you should check with our specified airfield. Some medical conditions may require a doctor’s sign‑off. You’ll be provided full details when you register with Skyline events.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Skydives are weather‑dependent. If conditions aren’t safe, the airfield will reschedule your jump for the next available date.

Can I bring friends and family?

Absolutely. Most airfields have viewing areas so your supporters can watch you take to the skies, if you have any questions, you can contact your local airfield.

What if I don’t reach the fundraising target?

Participants must meet or exceed their target to take part, and we can support you with ideas and resources. If you’re struggling, talk to our fundraising team – we’re here to help.

Can I jump as part of a group?

Yes. Groups are very welcome, and it’s a brilliant team‑building challenge. Just let us know when you register.
