Skydive for Francis House
Take on the ultimate adrenaline challenge and make a life‑changing difference...
Snowdonia (Eryri) National Park, LL55 4TY
Saturday 12 Sep 26 2:00 am - 9:00 am
Rising to 1085m, Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) is the highest peak in Wales. Reaching the summit is a rewarding challenge, especially as most of this walk will be done in the dark. But your efforts are repaid with spectacular sunrise views across the coast and the mountains of Snowdonia National Park.
Even if cloud obscures the far-reaching views from the summit, the surrounding mountain landscape still offers dramatic scenery and a unique atmosphere.
Along the way you’ll be guided by qualified local Mountain Leaders who will share their knowledge, encouragement, and enthusiasm throughout the climb. Step by step, as you ascend into this wild and mythical environment, the sense of achievement grows.
Every step is worth it for the view you will experience!
To enjoy this event, you need to be in good physical condition and able to withstand sustained activity over several hours, including steep ascents and descents.
You will be asked to complete a medical form 6 weeks prior to your climb.
Transport and accommodation are NOT included in this event.
Use postcode LL55 4TY to plan your trip.
Regardless of the time of year, we may experience clouds, rain, wind, sun, and even snow! The temperatures can be much cooler on the mountain tops, so bring layers that you can add and remove easily.
Ensure you have all the required equipment as specified in the Kit List (this will be supplied prior to the climb) to protect you from unexpected weather conditions.
Your qualified Mountain Leader will carry all necessary group safety equipment. They will also be qualified in Emergency First Aid.
Registration is £69pp, with a minimum fundraising target of £150pp.
