Our charity shop
Francis House has a charity shop, which raises much needed funds and acts as one of the public faces of the hospice.
Francis House opens charity shop in Withington
Shop manager Jason Connor and his team of volunteers, work hard to make the shop an important part of the local community. We offer a wide variety of items donated and new, and pride ourselves in presenting a polite and friendly service.
We rely on the generosity of our supporters who give regular donations of goods to sell – and on our willing team of volunteers who help to staff the shop and help in the store room ensuring that everything displayed is of a good standard.
It’s always worth calling in to view our ever changing window displays and you never know what you may find!
Donations
The shop is always in need of good quality items to sell including clothing, shoes, books, toys, toiletries, textiles and bric-a-brac (we cannot accept electrical goods, furniture or safety goods such as child car seats).
Please donate items during our shop opening hours and do not leave them outside the shop as they are unfortunately sometimes stolen, ruined by the weather or can cause a health and safety risk.
