Francis House has commissioned several pieces of Independent Research from Manchester University.  This is facilitated by a member of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Sue Kirk, who is a member of the university Staff.

Research into the best way of caring for young adults with life limiting conditions, commissioned by Francis House has been quoted in the NICE guidelines.

Independent Research is commissioned prior to the commencement of new projects to ensure that money is spent wisely and effectively.
