Peter is the Fundraising Office Manager and has a wide experience in banking and financial matters with many years’ experience in the commercial sector. Peter took over management of the Fundraising Office in 2008 and is responsible for the management, planning and co-ordination of both in-house and voluntary fundraisers.

Peter is keen to lead the fundraisers in developing new support from across all sectors, and at the same time retaining and valuing our existing loyal supporter base.

Lucy has a BA (hons) in Hospitality Management with Tourism. She worked for the Marriott Hotel Group for eight years as the golf, sports manager and senior events manager.  She joined the team the team in 2011 gaining her certificate in Fundraising in 2013.  She has also completed a Fundraising Event course with the Institute of Fundraising.  Lucy is now Events Organiser and manages major events including the Ball and the annual Ladies Lunch.

Prior to joining Francis House Karen was an award winning video producer director with a career spanning 20 years. Karen continues to produce the fundraising videos and photography for Francis House. Having worked as a consultant she joined the team in 2012. In Sept 2013, she was awarded the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) Advanced Certificate in PR.  Karen issues press releases to the local media and manages the newsletter and website content. She promotes the work of the hospice through our social media channels.

Jason joined us as charity shop manager in 2016.  Jason has varied experience in managing people dealing with the general public in roles such as polling clerk and working for Euro Sites constructing and dismantling camp sites.  Initially he qualified as a hairdresser before setting up his own barber shop in 2000. He joined the Francis House team in 2016 as Shop Manager. He also runs our charity eBay shop. Customer satisfaction is of primary importance to Jason.
