At Francis House we are extremely grateful for the tremendous ongoing support we receive from our local Golf Clubs.
We are privileged to have been chosen by the Captains and Lady Captains of many clubs across the north west as their charity of the year.
This support has been built upon year-on-year and upheld through the many fundraising efforts of golf days, overseas golfing trips, dinners and awards evenings.
The golf clubs organise outstanding events throughout the year with great prizes, excellent player turnout and generous sponsors.
Trafford Park Golf Day
For more than half a century there has been a golf day at Davyhulme Park Golf Club and for the last 16 years the charity benefitting from the support shown on the day is Francis House Children’s Hospice.
In that time more than £45,000 has been raised by generous golfers and sponsors.
David Marsden, Honorary Secretary at the club and director of Trafford Park based Hardwood Dimensions, continues to co-sponsor the event ensuring its continued success.
“We are delighted to continue our support of Francis House. The weather was great and everyone had a superb day of golf."David Marsden, Honorary Secretary
