By asking your family and friends to donate to Francis House instead of buying gifts for birthdays or anniversaries, you can help us to continue to provide much needed care.
Make Francis House part of your big day
For £2 each, we can supply you with Francis House pin badges to use as wedding favours for your guests. For an extra 50p each, we can include a card explaining that a donation has been made to the hospice in their name.
Donate the cost of Christmas cards
A popular way to give over the festive season instead of spending on Christmas cards is to tell your friends and family you’ll be donating the cost to Francis House instead. You could send personal Facebook messages or e-cards in their place.
Support us during Ramadan
Could you make Francis House your good cause to support next Ramadan? Charitable giving – or sadaqah – is an important part of Islam, especially during Ramadan. There are many ways you could support us. Simply making a one-off donation would be hugely appreciated, or perhaps you could be more creative? Challenge your friends and colleagues to fast for a day, either collecting sponsorship or donating the savings from the cost of a day’s meals to us. Alternatively, you could organise a special fundraising Iftar in aid of Francis House at your local mosque or at home.
